About the musician
Tulsa-based singer-songwriter Dane Arnold leads the retro-soul band Dane & The Soup. Since forming in 2017, the group has carved out a distinct place in the local scene with a sound rooted in soulful grooves, soulful vocals, and live instrumentation. Dane’s voice has been described as “soaring” and soulful, capturing a vintage soul vibe while delivering honest, heartfelt lyrics. Over the years, Dane & The Soup have released several singles, showcasing Dane’s songwriting and the band’s blend of soul, indie, and retro influences—all independently, on their own terms.
